Streetscape Improvement
Streetscape Improvements: We will be adding pedestrian improvement interventions along The Avenue, including benches, planters, electrical access, sidewalk repairs, a shading structure at Patrick’s Park, and more.
Facade Improvement Program
The program aims to invest in the businesses that have long been in our business district by providing them with a fresh new look.


Outdoor Improvement Program
This program aims to create gathering spaces for our community and businesses along Hamilton Avenue to increase pedestrian safety, walkability, and enhance the overall look and feel of the business district.
Pedestrian Safety
In collaboration with the City’s Department of Transportation and Engineering (DOTE), We’ve installed double curb extensions at five key locations throughout the Business District.

KeyMark – Mergard Lanes
Mergard is a part of College Hill CURC’s KeyMark Development in partnership with 8K, bringing 14 affordable units to the business district, 11 of which are accessible and 1 fully ADA-compliant unit—as well as a modern office space.
KeyMark – Knight Building
The second phase of KeyMark development was completed with the renovation of the Knight Building. Which is now home to Big Chill and Manga Manga.
KeyMark – East Lot
The redevelopment completely transformed the East Lot as part of the KeyMark project and created nearly 70 free public parking spaces, as well as, adding greenery and lighting.
KeyMark – Furniture Store
The first phase of KeyMark development was completed with the renovation of the former vacant furniture store. The building is now home to Sleepy Bee College Hill.
Patrick’s Park
Built in 2020 to be a community gathering space and to add much-needed greenery to our business district. Since then, College Hill CURC has programmed the park by hosting year-round community events.
Hollywood Apartment Renovations
Since its acquisition in October 2021, College Hill CURC has raised over $600,000 and invested it back into the Hollywood Apartments without raising the rent or causing displacement.
Doll House Renovations
After years of a mid-business district that was full of dilapidated, vacant buildings, with largely undesirable businesses, this project was designed to reinvent the area and reintroduce small businesses. The project was completed in 2019 and added two residential units and the commercial space is now home to Tortilleria Garcia.
The Dow’s Corner Renovations
The historic Dow’s Corner building was renovated in 2019-2022, bringing a total of 4 residential units on the second floor and 1 commercial space on the first floor.
Marlowe Court
Completed in 2019, Marlowe Court includes 53 units of affordable senior housing and three commercial spaces.
College Hill Gateways
The two large gateways located at the southern and northern ends of the Business District were completed in 2010 & 2012 respectively.
