The OurShop College Hill program provides brick-and-mortar businesses with rent-free space for six months, sales data analysis, financial education, mentorship, marketing, and storefront activation support.

Meet the Round 4 Tenants:

Three businesses are participating in the Fourth Round of Ourshop: ManChild Ltd, owned by David Thompson, Dahlia Mexican Handmade Accessories, owned by Melissa Wirth, and Exklusive Jewels, owned by Danielle Perdue.

ManChild Ltd.

David, a fantasy artist, created Everlore, an inclusive tabletop roleplaying game, along with various products that enhance the gaming experience. At ManChild Ltd., he offers a diverse range of art and games, focusing on inclusivity, unique storytelling, and personalized services to ensure each customer feels welcome and valued.

Dahlia Mexican Handmade Accessories

Melissa Wirth, founder of Dahlia – Mexican Handmade Accessories LLC, partners with four talented families from various regions of Mexico to showcase and sell their handcrafted products. Her mission is to share Mexico’s vibrant culture with the United States, offering unique items while empowering artisans to earn a living through their incredible art.

Exklusive Jewels

Danielle Perdue, founder of Exklusive Jewels LLC, empowers individuals through personalized healing practices, including life coaching, Reiki therapy, and crystal healing. Her mission is to provide a supportive space for exploring transformative healing, offering curated crystal jewelry, herbal teas, and other items that promote personal growth and well-being

A line of self-development coloring books that use art as a tool for personal change and self-healing to address the stigmatization of mental health in communities of color and those in poverty.

Learning tools and toys. Targeting parents and teachers who want quality in the design and execution of teaching resources for their children. We are a resource for toys that inspire, spaces that teach, and the tools teachers and parents need to engage the children they love.

Pour Candle Co.

Pour Candle Co. is a luxury line of candles and home fragrance products inspired by all things wine and cocktails. To provide a unique candle-making experience for private parties and corporate events that cater to customers’ wants and needs.

Meet the OurShop Round 1 Tenants!

Five businesses took part in the first round of the OurShop program from November 2021 through April 2022. At 5852 Hamilton Ave, the tenant is Set the Vibez, owned by Erika Standifer. Four tenants will be located at 5846 Hamilton Ave including DeeDee’s Butter Bar owned by DeAngela Gill, LAMA Herbal Solutions owned by Maria Walkup and Laura McCarthy, Launch Party owned by Brittany Cochran, and Like Mom’s Only Vegan owned by Naomi Sams.

OurShop College Hill is committed to creating a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for entrepreneurs in our community to test their own storefronts. With this program, business owners can establish a brick-and-mortar space rent-free for six months, with sales data analysis, mentorship for marketing, and storefront activation support. Our mission is to help small business owners gain experience to achieve their dream of their own, independent store in the future.
