OurShop is a 6-month pilot program designed to help cities and their neighborhoods make smart, data-driven decisions about main street retail in a post-COVID and tech-enriched world. The semi-permanent initiative is meant to bridge community wants and needs with what’s possible in the marketplace while documenting and measuring the impact of placemaking and activation on retail sales and growth. The initiative is meant to inform public and private investments in entrepreneurship ecosystems, neighborhood retail strategies, and commercial district operating systems.

Meet the OurShop Round 1 Tenants!

Two vacant storefronts were filled in by five businesses from November 2021 to April 2022.
At 5852 Hamilton Ave, the tenant is Set the Vibez, owned by Erika Standifer. Four tenants will be located at 5846 Hamilton Ave including DeeDee’s Butter Bar owned by DeAngela Gill, LAMA Herbal Solutions owned by Maria Walkup and Laura McCarthy, Launch Party owned by Brittany Cochran , and Like Mom’s Only Vegan owned by Naomi Sams.
