All the incredible accomplishments of the past year and the upcoming projects in College Hill are made possible because of your generous donations. College Hill CURC has been hard at work revitalizing our business district, from creating much-needed affordable housing to bringing in new businesses, facilitating facade improvements, enhancing outdoor spaces, and hosting events. Each project contributes to the vibrant fabric of our community.
Today, your donation goes twice as far! For the next 24 hours, all contributions to College Hill CURC will be matched up to $5,000. That means you can DOUBLE your impact!
Curious about what your support in the past year has made possible? Here are just a few ways you've improved our community through your gifts to CHCURC:
- Facade Improvement Program: In 2023 alone, we provided facade improvements for 21 small businesses, including new awnings, paint, lights, new fiber cement cladding, and more.
- KeyMark Project: Thanks to your help, this two-year endeavor created 26 affordable units, 72 free parking spots, 5 district commercial spaces, and 89 jobs.
- Outdoor Improvement Program: Ongoing projects like the West Lot Patio Expansion and Biergarten, alleyway enhancements, and new murals contribute to creating inviting public spaces for our community.
- OurShop College Hill: Your support enabled us to host two rounds of OurShop College Hill, providing 6 months of rent-free space to 7 entrepreneurs.
- Ohio CDC Project of the Year: With your support, we completed renovations at The Hollywood Apartments, 34 units of naturally occurring affordable housing. We invested $600,000 to renovate the courtyard completely, conduct unit-by-unit renovations with all new appliances, paint, and AC units, perform tuckpointing, and much more. This project won Ohio’s CDC Project of the Year in 2023, giving College Hill CURC state-level recognition for the first time.
- Community Events: Light Up College Hill, The Avenue Experience, and Summer On The Hill are all made possible with your generous support.
