Position Overview:

We’re seeking an experienced director of operations to join a highly skilled team and lead our operations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in achieving our organization’s goals and objectives by fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across the organization. The role requires outstanding organizational, communication, and leadership skills and an ability to develop innovative solutions that push boundaries. The director of operations will work closely with the CEO to strategize and develop long-term plans that usher in new levels of productivity and success for the company.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor operations including but not limited to, overseeing efficient operations of all CHCURC-owned properties, overseeing key small business programs, leading commercial business recruitment and commercial lease negotiations.
  • Assist with fund development, identify, and secure incentives and grants. 
  • Work closely with the CEO on the successful execution of current and upcoming real estate development projects, acquisitions, financing, and map out future development initiatives.
  • Draw on relationships with department leads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding achieving strategic goals.
  • Adhere to College Hill CURC’s policies and standards, and ensure that laws and regulations are being followed.
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Real Estate Development, or related field.
  • Preferred 3 years of expereince in operations leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in driving operational excellence and delivering results.
  • Experience in fund development/donor relations/fundraising preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance and/or accounting, real estate development, and employee management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legal guidelines.
